  2. History of India and Indian National Movement
  3. Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
  4. Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
  5. Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
  6. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change (no subject specialization required)
  7. General Science
Here one thing is of most importance:
   We should not give a separate treatment to prelims /mains and interview
   preparation,
   The preparation of all these 3 stages should begin right from the initial stage of
    your preparation.
   As, the topics of CSAT-GS-1 has been widely covered by its static and the 
   dynamic part in      
   the GS-1,GS-2 AND GS-3 papers of mains.

    you can subscribe the newspaper through-out your preparation.
2.News Channel such as Lok- sabha and Rajya- sabha ,turns out to be very informative when   
   it comes to the current issues of government reforms and policies.
3.Reports of the various ministries ,(relevant to your syllabus),has to be dealt in detail,.

3.History of Modern World :B.V Rao.
 
C.INDIAN AND THE WORLD GEOGRAPHY:
    Remember ,this has been divided in to 3 sections:(Physical, Social, and Economical)
    Also ,the Indian Geography carries more weightage as compared to the World Geography.
   1.Geography:Gho Cheng Leong. (Physical and Human Geography)
   2.India:A Comprehensive Geography----Khullar.
   3.Atlas---Oxford publication.
   4.NCERT Books for geography of class 09-12----(must study for prelims and mains)

 Indian polity deals a lot with the constitution of India, amendments and its governance policies:
